Thea Pearl Hovious. Daughter of William C. HOVIOUS and Sarah M. PADRICK. Born in Union Co., Iowa, 23 Feb 1897. Married, on 9 Apr 1921 at St. Joseph, Mo., Ray TAYLOR. At the time of their marriage, Thea was working at the offices of Larsen Fruit Company, and prior to that had worked as a telephone operator. Her obituary further indicated she later worked with her husband at a coal company, and once ran for the post of Councilman-at-large.

Ray Taylor passed away on 9 June 1960, and Thea, on 30 Nov 1976.
