Married Olive Margaret STRETCH (b.1892 Burnside, KY, d. 1 Sep 1961; buried in Resthaven Cemetery, Cincinnati, OH). He owned a small jewelry store in Asheville, NC and also worked for Prudential Insurance Co.

Stonewall Jackson Hovious died on 24 Nov. 1949 in Highlands, Ft. Mitchell Co., Ky.
