Polona Hovious. Daughter of Dr. Rezon D. HOVIOUS and Maggie WATSON. Born in Francesville, Indiana, 20 September 1888. Married Charles W. CALLAWAY in Menard Co., IL on 14 Oct 1908. In 1910 the couple were living in Tallula, IL, where Charles was the Postmaster and Polona the Assistant Postmaster. By 1920, Charles had died and Polona herself was the Postmaster for the town.

Polona never remarried. She died at age 89, in July 1978.
