Logan Hovious. Son of Logan T. and Ellen N. HOVIOUS. Born in Kentucky, 5 Aug 1912.

Logan Hovious was a sailor in the Merchant Marine. Sometime on 20 July 1947, he fell or was thrown into the waters of Los Angeles harbor. He was carrying identification at the time. The coroner conducted an investigation but was unable to determine anything specific about the cause of death beyond that it was due to drowning, which suggests Logan was still breathing when he went into the water.

Logan Hovious was not married. On the day which would have been his 35th birthday, his body was sent to his family's home in Port Arthur, Texas for burial.
