Ethel, Margie, Joanne, Mary & Joyce HoviousMore about Jack Hovious: Frank Dickerson writes: "When I was at Knifley High from 1948-1952, we would run 'down town' at the noon recess to plunk down our quarters (if we had one) for a
sandwich of delicatessen meat or cheese and a bottle of Jack's finest
soda pop. He had a lunch counter in his general store. We also hung
out there after school to wait for the final bus run that took us home
to Barnett's Creek.
Jack was a big bear of a man and as genial as they come. I'll always
remember his great smile and the way he tolerated our little band of
hooligans."
